Who feels ovulation?

I am one of the lucky ones who gets to feel ovulation and I was wondering how many others on this list feel it at least some of the time. I was just wondering how odd I really am. The vote is out from my husband and kids.

Hi guys -
I was wondering...what exactly do you feel?
This is my first cycle off of BCP's and I have been on them for several years. Then on Monday night, I had lower back pain on the left side. The ONLY time I get back pain is the morning AF starts and it is lower back pain and generalized (not on one specific side). The pain I had Monday night was a bit sharper and on the left side (obviously not really painful, just annoying). No matter how I moved, I couldn't make it go away. It was completely gone by the next morning. And I think I ovulated yesterday (although FF says I ovulated on Sunday).
I was just trying to figure out if Ovulation pain can be lower back pain??? Or is it usually just cramping...just curious!! The pain I felt is marked on my chart in blue.
Thanks so much!

Hello,
I always feel it. Sometimes it hurts to walk.

Mine is always cramping pain. If I push on the spot where my ovaries are it is even worse. Alright it is like pushing on a bruise. I can't help it! It kind of feels like a bladder infection or just normal menstral cramps.

I feel it too... lasts about 8 to 12 hours for me. Last month was very painful - also was my first month of BCPs. This month wasn't so bad, but still very noticable.

I often feel mine. It feels like a pinching pain in the vacinity of my ovary. Like someone is poking it with a needle or something. I don't feel it every month, though.
Also, I only ever seem to feel it on the left side. Does that mean that my right ovary isn't doing anything???
