Hello,

I do not know anything about what happens to a women's cycle after a baby is born but this is a great place to ask. It is a little slow on the weekends so dont be discouraged. You will get an answer soon...there are a great group of ladies here.

GOOD LUCK!
~Lisa

Firstly, Congrats on your new baby! :) Secondly, I think it's normal for our bodies to take extra time getting back into the monthly cycles.

Congrats on the new baby. :) I agree with the PP. It sometimes takes awhile for our cycles to get back to normal. I bled for 6 weeks after my first dd. At my 8 week check up, I went the route of an IUD and had normal periods thereafter. All while bf'ing. At this point, now might be the time to discuss some form of birth control with your OB or to just use condoms. If you're worried about pregnancy, you can get an HPT at the dollar tree for $1. Testing 2 weeks after the last unprotected bd'ing and you should get an accurate result. Good luck.
