It is very common to not get a positive on a HPT. I'm proof of that. I've had
Did your doctor tell you what would cause this in some women? Irregular cycle? Past use of birth control pills?
When I'm pregnant, the HCG gets absorbed in my bladder, so little of the hormone makes it into my urine. I don't know why this happens, but there are many many women going through the same thing. I read many posts over the web from women having this problem.

Well this whole thread at least makes me feel that maybe I am not loosing my mind after all.
On the first of January I had sex. My period prior to that was on the 21rst of December. An easy one to remember because it was my sisters birthday. I had a normal Period on January 19th. So I thought OK I am not pregnant. Which was fine with me. I suppose. Mean while about two and half weeks ago I was put on a new medication I was on it for two weeks. Well low and behold I started having Extreme Fatigue , nausea , dizziness , Breast Tenderness that occurred prior to me going on this medication and no where near the time for me to get my next period, cramping ( which felt like when I was pregnant with my last child) , increased urination( one night I ended up having to get up 4 times). Oh lets add the fact that my face just does not look like it did two months ago. I have dark circles under my eyes and I did not look like that six weeks ago. Oh and all of the sudden I got a cavity that went from OK to really bad over night. Yeah if there was one thing I remember about being pregnant was the doctor telling me about how pregnancy is bad on your teeth. So I chalked most of these symptoms to the medication. I looked it up and some where common side effects. Needless to say I did take a pregnancy test this past weekend and yes it was Negative. I thought to myself I guess it was the medication after all. Well I called up the Nurse today to tell her about how bad I was feeling and the first thing she asked me was if I had taken a pregnancy test yet. In which I told her yes and it was negative. So when she called me back from discussing my symptoms with the Doctor I was told to take another one this weekend. I guess I shall see. And really I wish this nausea would go away.
