I'm having twins! Never thought it would actually happen, but it did! We heard two beautiful heartbeats at the doctor's office today. I'm due in August.

So... that means I need twice the names. Thoughts? I am looking for names that start with the letters C, D, I, L, M, or X. My three-year-old son is Charles Isaac. I have no idea if the twins will be boys or girls or one of each.

Super congrats! I'm thrilled for you (times two!). Okay, let me know if Lydia is still a lock so I can think along those lines. Also, aren't Lawrence and Michael your top picks for a boy? How do you feel about repeating initials? Do you have mn's narrowed down for a realistic pool?

Yes, Lydia is still a lock, about 99% certain. We still need a middle name, though, and if it turns out to be two girls of course we'll need another.

Michael and Lawrence are definitely still on the short list, but not nearly as certain.

I don't mind repeating first initials, but I don't want to repeat the whole initial set. So, Charlie is CIV, we could have CCV or CMV or CLV.

I've actually brought up Cecily and Cecelia, but DH was not keen on them. Same with Imogen. I also like Daphne, but I don't think it works well with the Russian ethnicity of our last name.

Oh, wow! Congratulations!! That is such amazing news. I am so happy for you :) I don't have much name advice off the top of my head (though Cora springs to mind!) but just wanted to say congrats!
