Clementine: Grandma's name. The one that's pulled me to it the most and that I keep coming back to as "I wish I could...if I only had the guts" My worries...lack of decent nicknames, teasing factor with the song or society perceptions.
Rosalia: I like this, and I like Rosie for a nickname, but I polled people and way more than half pronounce it RoSALya instead of Rosa-LIA, which I actually HATE, and would not enjoy always correcting people all.the.time. No significance really. But pretty and easy nickname and works in both English and Spanish well. Less tease factors.
I also am in need of middle name ideas for Clementine. I have a longish (4 syllable) spanish last name. So something short. The two that come to mind are Rose and Pearl. But Rose is such a common middle name. My grandmas full name is Clementine Alice, so I guess I could possibly go that route but I think Alice sounds a little funny with our last name. Also not sure how Clementine sounds with Gabriel as a sibling. So, it seems like Rosalia works best, but Clementine still calls me so much :(
