When you just read that name....how did you pronounce the first name in your head?

I've tainted the other board because they all know how I want it pronounced from recent discussions....need some first impressions....PLEASE!

Thanks so much!!!

I rhyme it with Cry when I see it.

I said Gree, as to rhyme w/the cheese.

I read it "Gree", like Bree with a G.

Thank you! I was hoping I'd get a least a couple "Gree" pronounciations...I've looked at it so long I start to really "see" why people will go with the "rhymes with cry" way too.

If I want that name, my only other options are:

Gree Katherine or Gre Katherine or I scrap it and go back to Crosby Katherine

Berit, Raegan, Stenar and Grie

Berit, Raegan, Stenar and Gre

Berit, Raegan, Stenar and Gree

Berit, Raegan, Stenar and Crosby

Slowly losing my mind and there wasn't much left.....

Thanks for your help!

Def "gree" rhymes with see! I like it! Besides, if you get the random person who says Gry-rhymes-with-cry just correct them. My name is as straight forward as humanly possible and people still call me Jana-rhymes-with-banana. Whatever, it's life.

Congrats and good luck!

I thought probably Gree, though the Gry possibility definitely occurred to me.

If you told me "Grie rhymes with Brie" then I'd totally get it. Of all the spellings I'd say Grie because it is the same as Brie.

I definitely thought Grie like sea and I like it with your kids. I think it fits much better than Crosby. If I say Berit, Raegan, Stenar and Crosby I'd assume it was a boy.
