What do you think of Hazel? Do you know any girls with this name? What do you imagine a Hazel to be like?

I think it is a great name. Not one that I would ever use, but think it is darling on others! A friend of mine from college just named her daughter that and it is so sweet. And another good friend of mine will no doubt use it if she ever has a daughter.

I picture a little lady with BIG light brown eyes. Spunky, sweet, creative.

My grandmother's name was Hazel. I really like it and would consider it but we haven't named any others after relatives and I don't want to start now. I don't know any little girls with the name.

I really like the name Hazel. It was going to be DDs name, it was our final choice for her. Unfortunately my Grandmother died shortly before her birth so we changed her name to honor my Grandmother, but I still love the name.

It is getting a bit more popular which was my biggest worry with it, when we decided on it, but it is still fairly uncommon. There is one little girl on DD's birth group with the name and I have seen it in a couple of other places recently, so it is definitely out there.

I don't really have a preconceived notion of what a Hazel would look like.

I don't know any young people with the name Hazel, but I work in a nursing home, and we have a lot of them! The two I can think of right now are both incredibly sweet ladies. One of them is nearing 100, and is really itty bitty. The other one is from the South and has the sweetest drawl when she talks. Definitely a name I would consider since I think it is pretty and have only good associations with it because of the ladies I take care of.

I picture a sweet little girl with big ringlets and lots of dresses. Probably a brunette with BIG eyes who gets along with other kids :)

I love the name Hazel! I know one little girl named Hazel, about three years old. The name makes me picture a feminine young lady, but in an elegant way, not prissy.

I really like the name. We know a Hazel who is 11 & the sweetest thing- very gentle & kind but not a pushover. Her sister is Ada, which I think is a perfect sister set!
