Wdyt about Livia? We wouldn't use Olivia (which is a different name altogether). Do you think people would just assume we were trying to be "different" in this situation. Would people always assume her name was *really* Olivia? Do you know anyone who has used Livia? What has their experience been? Thanks, ladies!

I like Livia. I wouldn't worry about whether the other parents think you're being kre8iv. I'd worry more about her getting lumped in with all the Olivias, misspelled, misaddressed, that sort of thing. But I still think it's a great name.

I know someone with a daughter who is always called Livy. I don't know if her name is really Olivia or Livia or just Livy.

I think it would get confused too much with Olivia and Lydia.

I think people would probably think it was short for Olivia or that you just didn't enunciate the "O" . But I really do like it.

My 2 year old granddaughter's name is Livia Jane. My daughter just corrects people by saying Livia No O. It suits her very well and is a beautiful and different name.

My friend's niece's name is Livia. I think it is pretty, but I will be honest that my first thought was that it was a nn to Olivia. I know they get that question a lot, especially with the popularity of the name Olivia. But they love it, it is very pretty, and works so well with her. They call her Livy some too.

I think it's cute, but I like Liviana a tad more.
