need more options

I finally have a reason to look at names! We found out yesterday we're expecting and it may be twins!

Right now my girl list consists of:

Avery
Charlotte
Evangeline (my fave)
Olivia (DH's fave)
Veronica

Our boy list is pretty short:

Archer (my fave)
Chord (DH's fave)

So we've got it pretty sorted out if we get one of each or just one. But the thought occurred to me we could get two girls or two boys. I'd like more options. Looking at our taste in names, can you suggest more?

OMG, Chouli--I'm totally just lurking, but I'm sooooo very excited to read this (I have no name suggestions, sorry).

First of all congratulations! :)

You have nice lists so far. Evangeline is my fave too, although all of your girls names are on my faves list except Veronice (which is still very nice!). Your boy names are very interesting (in a good way), you guys have a unique style.

Here are my suggestions:

Boys - Bennett, Barrett, Foster, Montgomery, Clark, Henry, Dempsey, Mercer, Baker, Oliver

Girls - Annalise, Elodie, Willa, Sophia

And then ... here are some names I think could go either way gender-wise for you, depending on your own preference - Sinclair, Sloane, Harper, Aubrey and Sydney.

See anything you like? Good luck choosing and congrats again! :)

oh good! :)

My co-worker has a little Margaret who just turned 3. She's a firecracker with a ton of curly hair. They use Margaret exclusively, no nicknames, but there are lot's of cute ones - Maggie, Molly, Magpie, Marge, etc.

Jude is really cool and suits the vibe of your other boy names well. Love it. :)

How awesome, Chouli!! I am going to send sticky vibes, times two, your way. Congerats!!

I was just thinking about you the other day. Well, I didn't know it was YOU until you posted this... but was wondering who it was who posted about the name Chord... and then your post came up! I actually was thinking that I liked that as a nn, and think that the name Cordero is a good full name for that. Would you consider that as a name? I also love the name Corban, nn Corb. And I LOVE Jude, as pp mentioned!
Of your girls names, I like Evangeline and Veronica... they even sound great together for twin girls! Other names that would go nicely are Genevieve, Geneva, Verity, or Viviane.
