I have a girlfriend name Martha and she's sweet, but dull, and that's exactlty how I see the name. Just my 2 cents though!

Add to this the whole Martha Stewart idea, and it REALLY makes this name seem dull. I admit, I am not a fan of this. Marta has more appeal to me though...

I like Martha. It's definitely on my radar screen. It's so classic and historical. Half of the U.S. founding fathers had wives named Martha.
