Kelli,
Where in PA do you live? I have many friends in PA. Let's see...Harrisburg, Pittsburgh, Chambersburgh, Warminster, Newtown, Ford City,...

Sue,

I live about 20 minutes or so from Allentown and about an hour from Philadelphia. Actually went to Temple U. there and moved back here (where I grew up) about four years ago with dh and Kaitlyn after graduating. ;) It's a really nice area. :)

Hey Kelli,
Where did you go to High School? Kind of familiar with the Allentown area. My DH has some friends there. Are there really a lot of Elle's?

Hi again, Sue. ;)

Well, I went to a tiny little private school, but I would have gone to Freedom HS in Bethlehem had I gone public.

I have seen Elle and Ella a lot in birth announcements lately (plus they seem to tie in with all the Belle/Bella names that sound so similar ... lots of those as well!). It seems to be a really popular nn for anything ending in Elle/Ella or even Belle/Bella (like Gabrielle, Isabella, Anabelle, etc.). Incidentally, our little neighbor's name is Gabrielle (and she's not the only one we know), and I'm pretty sure at school she goes by simply Elle. With the little neighborhood kids like my daughter she usually goes by Gabby (I think Kaitlyn started that when she was smaller LOL ... yet another reason we wanted to avoid the nn Abby for our Abigail). :)
