I should have added that any suggestions are welcome. We are trying to incorporate Patricia, Ann &/or possible Lee in to honor family. We're looking for a recognizable but uncommon name. Nothing too bizarre, but I grew up with 5 other Jennifers so I'm trying to avoid that for this little one...tia for any thougths!

Ruby is leading the votes for no reason other than this board is heavily dominated by people who like old-fashioned classic names.

Natasha matches up with Jillian far better than Ruby does.

I voted for Natasha Leanne

good luck.

That was our concern with Ruby as well. Thank you for your thoughts :-)

I voted for Natasha with Jillian (Ruby doesn't work there - it looks frivilous in comparison with Michael and Jillian) but if you want to avoid the Jennifer syndrome, have you consider Patricia?

I voted for Ruby not so much because I liked it but because I didn't like the other suggestions.

Thanks for the input...we did consider Patricia as a FN, however, it's my mom's name & since she's still living we decided that we preferred to give our child a different FN (so they have their own "identity" I suppose) & honor our families with the middle name. We're having the same issue with boys names. FIL's name is Blake which is the one name both DH & I like but we'd rather not use it as a FN so it's being worked into the middle & we so far have come up with nothing for boys that we like as much....

Anyway I don't know if any of that rambling made sense lol...I just wanted to say thanks for your thoughts!

PS thanks for the name suggestions as well! I love Sophia, Sophie & Susanna but DH rejected all three weeks ago...maybe if I suggest them again he'll forget he didn't like them lol...hmmmmmmmmmmm

do you mind if I asked why you didn't like them? Please be honest....we're trying to pick a direction to go in & having a rough time lol...any suggestions?

I voted for Natasha Leeann, but seeing that you want to incorporate Patrice for your mother, I would change my vote to Natasha Patrice.

I do like Natasha, but if you're looking for more suggestions how about:

Allison Patrice
Rachel Patrice
Megan Patrice
Catherine Patrice

I like these and think they're really nice with Michael and Jillian :)

I do agree that Ruby doesn't really match up well with Michael and Jillian, and neither does Sonia for me.

Thanks for your thoughts! Actually Leeann is sort of incorporating my mom too. My mom's middle name is Ann, DH's grandma's is Lee, so we combined them into Leeann in case Patricia or Patrice wouldn't work....it's a little softer sounding & we thought Natasha might need a softer middle name....

That being said I really like the names you suggested, unfortunately dh is a pain in the butt lol...I suggested Allison & Rachel before & he didn't like them, & Catherine is my neice's name....Megan, on the other hand, is up for consideration as well :-)

We had a feeling Ruby wouldn't work, it's another family name we liked but it just doesn't "go" with the other 2.....

Anyway thanks again!

sure... I just didn't think that Sonia or Natasha really fit in with the same trend as Michael and Jillian, that's all. Ruby didn't really fit in either but I like it so I picked it. I guess I did do you an injustice... :o)
Michael and Jillian seem like nice, upstanding but common and Sonia and Natasha seem a little too frilly in comparison.
