I know with this spelling Arden can sometimes be considered unisex, but it still sounds very masculine to me (reminds me a LOT of Ardan, a strictly-male name that actually means "tall fellow," so not a pretty girl name at all KWIM?). ;)
I don't know if a pp has pointed this out, because I haven't read the other posts yet. But, I just think of Elizabeth Arden, which immediately kills this as a boys' name for me. Other things might occur to other people, though.
I, myself, see Arden as a boy's name but just wanted to know what others thought. I had this name on my list awhile back and maybe thought I'd revisit it. I guess why I took it off my list is because my Dutch brother-in-law's name is Arjan (are-ee-in) which may be a little too close for my liking. Thanks!
I think it works best as a mn for a girl:
Catherine Arden
Grace Arden
Sophia Arden
Olivia Arden
Camille Arden
Liv Arden
Natalia Arden
I almost wrote Elizabeth Arden...but that's the cosmetics firm!

Hey There,
My neighbor up the street, her little girls name is Arden. And it makes me think of Elizabeth Arden for some reason. Good luck!
