AreTyler and Taylor too Matchy-Matchy?
- Yes, way too corny for me!
- A little bit, but if you love the name go for it!

Hello!
Thanks for the response! The funny thing is my DH loves Skyler, but I think that one is even more matchy-matchy! I do love many of your choices though! Especially Mason! Love that for both a boy or a girl!! I'll take all the help I can get! I just wish DH and I had the same tastes which we clearly do not!!

My sister's mn is Mayson, and when she was a teenager, she dropped the 'y' and started using Mason as her first name. I've always liked it. :)
I agree that Skyler and Tyler are matchy. It's probably six of one/half-dozen of the other, but if Taylor and Skyler were my only choices, I think I'd still choose Skyler. Neither would be my top choice for you, however.

Now if you were my DH we'd be all set...hehehe...
I'm a fan of all your choices. I love the more gender neutral names, but with the exception of Taylor and Skylar, my DH really isn't. He's more a fan of the the girly-girl names...*sigh*.
But I will try some of these on him and see what he thinks!! Thanks again for the help!

Oh gosh... sorry, but they are ridiculously matchy. Don't do it!

I thought I would toss my name into the ring - BROOKE. It has an edge, but is still pretty IMO. I am 25, named Brooke, and IMO the name has aged well so far :-)
Here are some more DH might like:

Rachel
Sarah, nn Sadie (or just Sadie)
Katherine, nn Kate

Good luck,

No seriously, tell me how you really feel??? Hehehe...
Any suggestions on similar names that aren't as close?
Thanks!

I understand why you like Taylor - it's a cool name! But I would *definitely* not use Taylor since you already have a Tyler, and they are so close as to be almost the same name. Plus, it would really leave Lindsey as the odd one out, which could be pretty harsh (even though, of course, that is not your intent, at all!). I also would not use Skyler or Skylar, since they rhyme with Tyler.
With Tyler and Lindsey, and if you want a sort of unisex name, I would consider Payton/Peyton, Avery, or Ryan.
