Hi all,

DD#1 is Carys, and I'm looking for a girl's name to compliment.

I think Isolde would be a bold choice...I like it.

Carys is a lovely name.

I like Isla but it seems to be becoming quite popular. I think Carys and Bronwyn is a very interesting sibset; Bronwyn would be my top pick from your list.

Other possibilities:

Aileen
Ainsley
Brynn
Cecilia
Eden
Elsa
Gwenneth
Lena
Nia
Nora
Wynne

I love Isolde, I'm just not brave enough to use it myself!!! lol

No other suggestions for you but I LOVE the name Carys!!! I really want to name the baby girl I'm pregnant with right now Carys, but DH won't go for it :(

I think all of the names you mentioned work very well with Carys (beautiful name btw) except Meredith.

I'll put them in order of preference with my favorite being first:
Isla
Rhiannon
Bronwyn
Eloise
Isolde
Meredith

I think Eloise is my favorite, followed by Meredith... but I agree that Isolde makes a great sister to Carys, somehow.

Carys is obviously Welsh, another Welsh name would look right together: Meredith.

But an Irish one would look okay too:

what about Aoife?

I love Bronwyn and Rhiannon. DH doesn't like Rhiannon b/c of the song, but it is one of my favorites. Also, Meredith is my name, and I have always liked having a name that is a little bit elegant and unusual.
