I voted for Eliza, but I also love Liza and Libby. Actually, the only options I don't love are Lily and Ellie. And I actually think they are both very pretty, it's just that they are also both very popular. I know SO many little Ellies and Lilys (short for Elizabeth, Eleanor, Ellen, Elle, Ella, Isabelle, Isabella, etc. and Elizabeth, Lilian, Lillian, Lily, Lilibet,

I have a friend Elizabeth that has never gone by a nn. A lot of people try to call her Liz but even as a child she would say no its Elizabeth. So it is possible to use the full name.

I'll just ditto Annie's reply. ;) (Except for Libby ... I never liked this nn since knowning a Libby who was always teased and called "Lippy" LOL, so just me).

I voted for no nickname because I just love Elizabeth but if I had to use a nickname I would use Beth--so sweet

Elizabeth is such a beautiful name, it doesn't need a nickname...but that is just my opinion.

Just a question, but what about Lizzy, and Liz? I've always thought Lizzy was cute, lol. On the other thing, I think just start calling her by her full name, if she wants a nickname, she'll pick it out or something will just stick. When my younger sister was born, they named her Kathryn, with the intention of calling her Katie. When she was two, she insisted, "My name is not Katie, it's Kathryn." lol ever since then she's been Kathryn.
Personally, I don't like Libby, but I've known a few cool people with that nn, and it fit them. Good luck!

I love Libby, but I also think Bess is very sweet. Eliza is nice, but I like that better as a fn than a nn, with 3 syllables it doesn't seem very nicknamey.
