Boy name for baby with brothers Connor and Carson (MN Michael, LN one syllable)

  • Caden
  • Cullen
  • Kyle
  • Colton
  • Other 'C' name
  • Forget the 'C' sound, too confusing

Hi there! Guess I was your first vote, then. Just to let you know I'm in the same boat, only worse, because I have two DS's with Z names instead of C.

Of your C/K options, I like Caden the best, but I'm seeing that name around a lot lately, it's getting quite popular.

I'm really leaning on breaking the same initial trend now, to be honest. While 2 kids with the same initial is reasonable, once you get to 3 I think it starts to look a little contrived. Especially in my case with the Z's. I already mix the two kids up enough as it is, and I know adding a third Z name will really make it worse! Plus, breaking the cycle now gives us more naming options for #4 (if there will be one!)

Anyway, JMHO from a Mommy in a similar situation!

GL to you!

I would definitely stick with the Cs. On your girl poll I picked Camille, because I thought you might want a daughter's name to have a different kind of style than her two brothers. In this case, I picked Colton because it goes nicely with Connor and Carson. Besides, I love the name Colton! My second choice would be Caden, but it's just so popular these days. Cade is an awesome nn.

I also love the nn Cade. Caden has been a final choice with each of our children but has never been chosen. It could be time. But as you said Caden is getting popular. The same thing happened with DS Connor's name too and is now happening with DS Carson.
