Boy name help!!!

Jameson David
Chase David
Please tell me why you like one or the other
I don't want a trendy name, or a popular name, I don't want him to be one of 3 in his class and I don't want his name to date him like Jennifer, Tiffany, Stephanie of the 80's.

You will be able to change your vote.

I voted for Chase, because I don't hear it a lot, and it has a simple but strong feel. I am not a fan of Jameson, only because I like just James better.

I voted for Jameson David (although I prefer James unless Dad's name is James). Chase is probably one of my least favorite boy names -- it seems "weak", and I don't like that it's also a verb. I know lots of people like Chase, but it's nmsaa.

I personally do not like names associated with James because I am not a fan of Jim. I do like Chase.

Good luck!

I voted for Chase because Jameson seems like a last name to me.

More than voting "for" Chase, I voted against Jameson, because I generally don't like fn that end in -son, because that to me is a surname. I do however like Chase a ton for a boy, but I have heard of girls being named Chase, so that would concern me too! Good luck

I voted Jamison David but it was a total toss up for me. I love both of them. You can't go wrong either way IMO. I have a good friend Jamison and he goes by Jamison , no nn. Chase has always been big on my list. Good choices!

Both names are "contemporary" and over used in schools......how about Lance David or James David if you just like the way the names flow together.
