Hi, my DH & I really love the girl's name Bria (pronounced bree-uh), but we don't know if it sounds good with our last name, Rask. What do you think? And if you think it sounds good, do you have any middle name ideas?

Another girl's name we really love is Bronwyn. (We don't have a middle name picked out for that either.)

Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I like both names, but I think Bria sounds better with Rask. How about Bria Nicole Rask or Bria Camille Rask?

Hi there. Those are both lovely names. I'm not sure that either sounds fantastic w/your last name, but Bria definitly works better. Bronwyn Rask is sort of a tounge twister. I think that the mn should probably be four syllables in the interest of having it flow nicely. Here are some suggestions:

Bria Elizabeth Rask

Bria Felicity Rask

Bria Fidelity Rask

Bria Persephone

Okay, there's not many, but I do love Bria Felicity. Hope this helps!

I'm probably the only one on this board that thinks Bria Rask is a bit rhymey. The 'a' sound in both names is identical! For that reason alone, I'd write Bria off my list. Bria also makes me think of the La Brea tar pits in CA.

I think Bronwyn is completely lovely and easy to pronounce (Bron-win, how hard is that?!?). I prefer the spelling Bronwen, myself. I'd pair it like this: Bronwen Eliza Rask. Or even Bronwen Claire Rask, Bronwen Fleur Rask, Bronwen Ivy Rask, Bronwen Louisa Rask, Bronwen Rosalie Rask or Bronwen Sarai Rask.
