I voted yes, but only because I think using the two syllable "surname" names (such as Carson, Parker, Cooper, Landon, etc) in general has gotten very trendy. But Carson in particular is no more popular than many others. I don't know if that makes sense, but maybe if you like Carson but don't want to be too trendy, you could find a surname name that's less popular? Or, Carson sounds "western" to me, so maybe another name similar, like Wyatt, Dylan, Colby, etc? Just my thoughts! Carson doesn't strike me as ULTRA-trendy.
