I would think it's probably pronounced Kee-ahr-uh, like Kiara.

I think, "Kee-AR-ah". I actually know a couple of girls with this name and that's how it's always pronounced.

Looking at it spelled as is, I would pronounce it Chee-ar-ah. I think it's the CH blend that does it. I have a friend with that name (kee-ar-ah) but hers was spelled Quixara. :) I think it's a lovely name.

If you want to use the correct Italian pronunciation, Chiara is pronounced Key-ah-ruh
(Ch- is pronounced as K- in Italian).

Some of our family friends who are Italian named one of their daughters Chiara (Key-ah-ruh), and the other Gianna (Gee-ah-nuh),the Italian version of Joanna. Both very pretty names!
