I think the name is nice, but I think the spelling will throw people off, and you and your child will constantly be correcting people. At first glance I thought it was a hard "c" sound.

I would pronounce it kyler because it's like Schyler without the s. I don't like the name, but if you're going to use it you might want to spell it Shyler.

Is this for a boy? I don't see it pronounced Kyler OR Shyler, because to me it looks like CHyler which begins like CHad or CHerry.
I don't really like it, whether for a girl or a boy. It looks made up, and I'd much rather see (and hear) Kyler or Skylar/Schuyler.

I would spell it different i know a chyler that prononces it kyler...Shylar or Shailer

The first thought that popped into my head was that it makes me think "shyster" (sp?), as in con artist.

This is just one of those names that I ran across and liked and thought I'd get opinions on it. Doesn't seem very popular here. LOL! It's not in my top 5 or anything, but I do think its cute :)

It made me think of Chrysler (the car).
