DH said he wants another baby...

After so long of me saying, "oh let's have another baby" and him saying "no", last night he tells me he's been thinking about it and wants another baby. This is of course way after I've stopped asking him, and I decided it would be better to wait a couple more years anyway. I even started working out at a Curves, decided I'll be losing weight, maybe start a home based biz, etc. Now, this!! I'm not sure he's 100% positive, but if he is, I better do it now. I have a 9 year old and a 6 year old, and I don't want them to be grown before I have another one. Anyway, last night I had him write some names he likes, he admitted he doesn't know the correct spellings, here they are along with the ones I had that he also liked:

girls:

Alexandria
Dae
Madison
Madiline (I'd do Madeleine or Madalyn)
Isabella
Abigail

boys:

Donivan Grady (Donovan is my spelling)
Triston Grady (Tristan)
Charles David
Payton
Alexander

I had Alexandria on my list, and I like Dae for the middle name. It is a nature name, which I'd like to stay with since my others have nature middles. Grady is my dh's grandpa's name, but I really don't want to use it. I like Payton, but it seems to be for a girl now days. So, what do you ladies think?

Thanks in advance,
Ali

Actually, I like all of the names except Charles...too oldfashioned for me. My favorites are:
Girls: Madeline (any spelling) Dae (i like that middle name too!) OR Isabella
Boys: Donovan or Tristan. I'm with you...Payton can be for either boy or girl, but if you are uncomfortable with it that is what matters.

Happy Conceiving!

First of all, Alexandria is a city. Both Alexandra and Alessandra are names, though, and I like both of them. I like Madeleine best (I only like is spelled this way). Isabella and Abigail are both pretty, too, and although I don't like the name Dae, it sounds fine with Alexandra, Alessandra, Madeleine, Isabella, and Abigail. Dae is infinitely better than Lake or Willow or such similar nonsense. And, since most of your first names are very traditional and classic, it will balance a more "natural" middle name.

I don't like Donovan or Tristan at all. I love the name Charles. I like the name Peyton (but NOT spelled with an A), and I think it's fine for a boy (how much more masculine can you get than Peyton Manning, for heaven's sake?)!

I like the idea of naming your son after a family member (Grady). If you don't want to use Grady, though, you could use Gray or Grayson. Alexander is fine, but so common.

What are your other kids' names?

Okay, Alexandria IS a name, yes a city, but also a name! I've known a few! But, I do appreciate your opinions. My kids are Sabrina Skye and Cameron Drake (Cameron is a city in atleast Missouri, if not others!) :-)

Thanks Leah for your input!I agree Charles is old fashioned, it's my fil, and David is my dh. Dh is big on family naming, but I'm not. :-)

I like Alexandria Madeleine (though it's a bit long) & Tristan Alexander.
