Hi everyone.. I wanted to get your opinion..
My Grandmothers name is Lily, she is the most wonderful person on earth and I would LOVE to name my daughter after her, mostly because of honor, but I also LOVE the name...
The problem is DH's grandmothers name was Rose, and he always wanted to use her name as a mn when he had a daughter (I think he promised his dad)...... But I dont know if Lily Rose is to corny or not since they are both flowers..... She really would only be called Lily but her birth certificate would be with rose as a mn.... The only other thing I can think of is having her "formal name" be Lilianna and just call her Lily for short...... Its the only form of lily, I like..
Can you give me your opinion. Thanks everyone.

My friend almost did this!! She was considering it as a back up for Madison (which she decided was far too popular even though she always wanted a Maddie). Anyway, she was going to use Lillian Rose after her grandmother. I loved it! I thought it was perfect.

But she ended up just going with Madison Lynn (after another grandmother) because she decided it was probably on its way out anyway.

If you like Lillian, I think Lillian Rose is beautiful!
