I don't know if I like how Jasmine sounds with Cassidy (although the nn C.J. could be cute, if you thought of that). :) However, I couldn't vote for Cassidy Lee, as it's my mom's mn (as well as a few others in my family) and my (female) cousin's first name, and they both hate it. Not feminine at all, at least with this spelling (in fact, the name was originally on a man in the family, so that's where the "trend" came from I suppose). A more feminine spelling like Leigh might be ok, but still a little rhymey with the end of Cassidy, if that bothers you. HTH!

Thanks for your input - here's why these are the last names standing.
My 5 year old wanted to help name the baby, so we agreed she could try and pick a mn for a girl. She chose Belle, which I quite like with Cassidy, but my SIL had baby this week and gave mn of Belle. So my Daughter has now picked Jasmine. Her 'theme' she is basing these suggestions on is Disney princesses... LOL.
With Lee, I agree that it is a bit rhymey with Cassidy, but DH is not agreeing on anything. My name in Lisa, MIL is Lyn and mum is Liz, so thought Lee covered all bases really.
This child has been the hardest of the three to name!
I know what you mean ... we're also on our third (all girls!) and she's definitely been the hardest to name. We've finally settled on Abigail as a bit of a compromise, but we're still stuck for a mn.
I think it's cute that your daughter wants to help with the name, and like I said, Cassidy Jasmine doesn't sound too bad (and if you do want the nn option, C.J. is really cute!). I think I would definitely go with that since it was her suggestion (and since you don't sound too attached to Lee anyway). :)
My own daughter (4 1/2 years old) has fallen in love with the following for Abigail's mn: Fiona (her favorite, apparently LOL, but dh isn't getting on board) and Amelia (as in Bedelia), along with the following "princess" names that might also appeal to yours ... Aurora (actually quite pretty), Briar, Ariel and Cinderella (although I couldn't bring myself to use that one LOL).
HTH, and good luck! :)

LOL - we have been through the Aurora, Cinderella, Briar and Ariel as well!!
It was the Rapunzel that I just couldn't face! The other suggestion was Odette from Barbie Swan Lake.
So, what about Abigail Odette?
LOL I don't think she's seen the Swan Lake one yet, so I haven't gotten that suggestion. She has recently been watching The Princess and the Pauper and Fairytopia, though, so I'm surprised none of those have been suggested yet. :) Sounds like the two of them would get along very well. LOL

What about Cassidy Ella or Cassidy Elle (in "honor" of Cinderella ;-) )? My DD is in love with Cinderella, Princess Fiona, Clara from The Nutcracker, and basically any girly princess she sees. :-)
Good luck making a decision!
Ooh, the pp suggestions of Elle/Ella for Cinderella might make your dd happy as well! (After all, isn't Cinderella for "little cinder girl" or something to that extent? So really, her actual name could be Ella hehe). Plus, you'd still get the "Belle" sound you'd wanted originally. Might be a good compromise. ;)

I hadn't thought of that, however, my best friend's little girl is named Ella Kate, so I couldn't use that name either....
It just gets too hard sometimes... LOL
