To me it is a boys name, the only girl I have ever heard of named Drew is Barrymore.

Good luck

PLEASE, PLEASE let the boys have some names that are strictly boys only names. I hate this trend of girls using boys names. People like my husband will not use a name for a boy if hears or thinks that it's a girl's name which leaves people like me with very few names to choose from. There are so many beautiful and original girls names out there, I'm sure you'll find one that you love.

Oh don't worry, i think this name is all boy. my husband is concerned that it may be feminine due to Drew Barrymore. just confirming that it is regarded as 95% boy!
Thanks for your votes and responses!

Neither wasnt an option.

Drew is a nickname. Either Drew as a nickname for Andrew (BOY) or Dru as a nickname for Drucilla (GIRL).

Oh thank goodness- one of my children is named Andrew and we chose it because it was strictly a boys name- I hope it stays that way! Good luck and hope this helps you decide on a name. It's so hard to choose isn't it?!!

I see Drew as a nn for Andrew. As a given name, it's still all boy to me. However, I don't mind Dru on a girl as a nn for Drusilla.

Definitely all boy! I do much prefer it as a nn for Andrew, however (and this may very well be your intention).

I don't think the names of famous people/celebrities (like Drew Barrymore) factor that much into people's perceptions of certain names, since most would assume a particularly unusual name (or a name generally used for the opposite sex) was actually just a stage name anyway.

In real life, I've known quite a few male Andrew/Drews, but only one female Dru (short for Drusilla, which she NEVER went by), so if I saw Drew on a class list or something I'd be pretty sure it was a boy.
