I voted for Emma Kate. My dh loves the name Emma. It's one of the few names that he suggested that I would even think about naming a child. If we ever use the name Emma then the middle name I want to use is Katherine and I was thinking I would just call her Emma Kate for short. It's such a sweet name.

I like the cadence of a two syllable first name followed by a one syllable middle name, esp for girls. FYI, the current Democratic Vice Presidential nominee John Edwards' young daughter is named Emma Claire. I absolutely adore it! Very southern!
