Great combo - everything I love in a girl's name - pretty and feminine but not too girly, classic not trendy, not overly popular, great flow.

I know I'm in the minority, but Tessa Rask sounds very hissy to me (though I do love Tessa, so if it doesn't bother you by all means use it LOL). Just something to keep in mind, since you may not have noticed it when saying the full name. Madelyn in the middle obviously breaks up the S sounds.

Personally, I would have gone for Tessa Madeleine, but spelling notwithstanding, this is a gorgeous name. Very feminine, but still sophisticated. And suitable for a child, but even better on an adult. Fabulous choice!

I like the full name but Tessa Rask seems a little 's' heavy to me.

I prefer Madeleine too (ab2203, I've agreed with you twice in 2 postings -- I hope you don't mind). I *adore* Tessa. Tessa Rask is heavy on the 's' sound but I think it gives it a bit of character. Again though to me, Madelyn looks like someone wasn't sure how to spell the name and guessed incorrectly.

Ha! Glad to know that someone agrees with me...good for the ego, n'est pas? Also good to know that someone else is annoyed by Giada's perennial perkiness as much as I am; there's really nothing worse. Except perhaps her not-so-subdued superiority when she pronounces the names of Italian foods. Vomit.

Although I like Tessa as a name, I don't like it with your last name. It sounds like it has too many S's in it.

I think the name sounds great but I prefer the more classic spelling of the middle name. But the name flows beautifully and I love the name Tessa.
