Adelheid is too close to 'formaldehyde' - a chemical used in labs and construction.
I love Gabrielle - very pretty.
AJ, enjoying life with C.
Glad you like Gabrielle:-)
I of course voted for Gabrielle Elisabeth Jones
Good Luck!

I would have voted for Adeline or Adelaide in a heartbeat over Adelheid. I also prefer just Heidi. Adeline is a little close to Magdelene, IMO, but it would depend if they normally go by full names or nicknames.
That being said, I voted for Carissa, and I also like Charis. Elisabeth Kate is very pretty, but if your last name is really Jones, then I think it's too common. It's one thing to share your first name with lots of other people, but sharing your entire name is too much, IMO.
You have lots of great choices here. Good luck finding the perfect fit!
Stephanie
I love Adeline.
You had also listed Heidi as a possible nn, and I love that one as a stand-alone name.
AJ, enjoying life with C.
Loisa Faith Jones- Is this pronounced like Louisa? If so, I would use this spelling, if not and it is pronounced low-iss-uh, the name is nms
Charissa/Karissa/Carissa Joy Jones - I like Carissa a lot, the spelling is much softer than Charissa or Karissa (Karissa is my 2nd fave, Charissa looks silly to me) Although Joy Jones is a bit Jo- heavy. I like Carissa Kate Jones or Carissa Faith Jones.
Galia Kate Jones - hmm... interesting, what is this origin? I like it
Adelheid Elisabeth Jones - I LOVE this, it GMV, although I think I prefer it with mn Kate, seems to flow better
Charis/Karis/Caris Elisabeth Jones - Love Caris or Carys spellings, the others don't look right. I like the name a loy
Gabrielle Elisabeth Jones - too common, you're other choices have more originality and are just prettier
Elisabeth Kate Jones - nice, but common
-Nikki
Adelheid is a liitle too old-world clunky for me, but I would have voted for Heidi Elisabeth or Adelaide Elisabeth in a heartbeat.
Caris Elisabeth got my vote, but I prefer the Carys spelling.
Thanks for all your imput! Adelaide would definitely replace Adelheid should we use that name combo. I would still prefer Heidi as a NN to Addie but I guess it wouldn't matter if the nn were a bit of a stretch for the given name. I would rather not have her given name be Heidi. I know that's often a stand alone name, but to my ears it feels nicknamey when said with my other girls' names.
I think Galia (ga-LEE-ah) Kate is definitely out now. It's pronounciation does not immediately flow from the brain to the tongue. =p
DH was not for Gabrielle Elisabeth. (too popular)
If we use Carissa or Caris, I think we will spell it with just a plain C. Though two families within our circle of church friends have recently used Karis... So we may not go with Caris at all. Carys is nms. I think it would be mis-prounounced Car-ees like "carries" or "Cary's" not CAR-iss.
If we use Loisa (prn loh-EES-ah) we will probably call her Loie (LOH-ee) or Loa. I don't think we would switch to Louisa because that changes the look, pronounciation, and character reference (Lois from Bible).
DH doesn't prefer Elisabeth Kate. (too plain)
So we are still pondering, but we have lots of time!
I knew someone named Keris and always loved that name. I was told it means "love" in some language. I like it spelled with a "C", too.
I was actually hoping to name a son or daughter Keris, but I married a Spring and don't like how Keris Spring runs together with the s's. :)
