We're having a baby in April and need help picking a girl's name. Her brother is Soren Jennings T.

We are considering:
Celine
Alma (470)
Virginia
Emerson
Lila
Georgia
Anastasia
Eleanor
Eliza Jane
Josephine
Margaret
Skylar
Skyler
Cadence
Melanie
Amelia
Julia
Sydney
Elizabeth
Imogen
Louisa
Sterling
Blaire

Possible middle names: Virginia, June, Anne, Jane (only with Eliza), Grace, Pearl, India (only with Amelia - sentimental reasons), Amelia, Georgia, Katherine, Cynthia, Ruth, Hope

Suggestions? Thoughts?

I think Soren is an awesome name! It is unique and cool without being oddly so.

Celine- Soren and Celine are a bit matchy. Not to mention I don't think it has the same feel that Soren does.
Alma- LOVE this name, I think it is gorgeous. I don't know that it is great with Soren as it is an old name with a classic feel and Soren, (could be wrong on this) is a newer name and has a "cool" feel.
Virginia- I like this name, although it i s a bit frumpy. Dislike it with Soren, far too different in style
Emerson- The name is okay, but trendy. I'm not a fan of -son names on girls, as it means "son of"
Lila- GORHEOUS name although be warned that Lily/Lila/Lilah/Lilianna are rising quickly in popularity. It may seem odd to have a son with the unique name Soren and then a daughter named Lila which I'm sure will be top 30 in no top.
Georgia - Good, not great
Anastasia - This is a great name! I really like it
Eleanor - lovely, but not with Soren
Eliza Jane - lovely
Josephine- too old-fashioned, although Soren and Josie is cute
Margaret - too old-fashioned to be a sister to Soren, although I like the name. Maybe Greta as another option? Or Margaret nn Greta?
Skylar - I would avoid another S name
Skyler - I would avoid another S name
Cadence - This is okay to me. I love Cade on a boy. It seems very trendy, but its okay.
Melanie - Okay, but a bit boring
Amelia - Gorgeous name. Could work with Soren if you used a spunky nn
Julia - beaytiful classic
Sydney- again, I would avoid an S name
Elizabeth- Like the name, but it is way too common to be a sister to Soren.
Imogen- AWESOME! This goes nicely with Soren and is very underused
Louisa- Gorgeous name. I really like it with nn Lola. Soren & Lola go nicely together.
Sterling- As much as I love the name (although do prefer it on a boy) I would avoid another S name. Especially with a son with such a great name as Soren, I would want to keep their names separate and unique so it doesn't seem cheesy.
Blaire- I really like this for you, although definately prefer the Blair spelling

From your list my faves are:
Imogen Ruth
Imogen Pearl
Blair Virginia
Blair Amelia

Although I really love the names on your list, most seem way too "safe" with brother Soren. Although I find that generally parents have different tastes when it comes to different genders, I think Soren & Elizabeth or Soren & Margaret is just too much of a stretch. Here are some fresher names (at least in my mind) to consider.

Delilah (as an alternative to Lila)

Elora

Dalia

Mattea

Calla

Calista

Aila/Ayla

Tirza

Faye

Carys

Elodie

Lane

Tatum

Isle

Blythe- although old, it is certainly underused

Harper

Remi- this is adorable on its own or as nn for Remington

Romilly

Wow.. it is really hard to think of names that match Soren! Boys are much easier in this case. My favourite with Soren Jennings is Remi Virginia or Isle Virginia. What do you think???

Soren is a great name - I think of it asold-fashioned and classic, which is right in style now. I think it has Scandinavian history, right?

Of the names on your list, the ones I like best with Soren are:

Alma
Virginia
Lila
Georgia
Eleanor
Margaret
Amelia
Julia
Elizabeth
Imogen - I think this is my favorite as a match for Soren; it's unusual, old-fashioned but not weird - just like Soren
Louisa
Blaire - my second fave with Soren, ever though I don't usually go for this style of name ;)

These I don't like as much:

Celine - too matchy with Soren
Emerson - seems very trendy next to Soren
Anastasia - the style seems very different
Eliza Jane - I like this name a lot but it seems a different style; Elizabeth Jane nn Eliza Jane works for me though
Josephine - just not one of my favorite names; no good reason, lol
Skylar/Skyler - they seem trendy next to Soren
Cadence - Caden, Hayden, Jaden, etc. are so popular & it's similar to them
Melanie - style doesn't go w/ Soren as well
Sydney - with Soren, I would think they were brothers (even tho I know Sydney is popular for girls)
Sterling - ditto, I would think Sterling & Soren were brothers

You have lots of great names on your list. The only one I would totally veto (if I had that right, lol) is Celine because it's too similar in sound. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Soren Jennings is an amazing name! ;) His sister definitely deserves something just as good.

Celine -- I don't like that this is so similar to Soren
Alma -- I like that a lot
Virginia -- I'd look for something a little less common/familiar, if that makes sense
Emerson -- WAY too trendy next to Soren
Lila -- love Lila, but keep in mind she may blend in with all the other Lilys, Lillians, etc.
Georgia -- see comments on Virginia
Anastasia -- I like it
Eleanor -- love it, but maybe not with Soren
Eliza Jane -- same as Eleanor
Josephine -- nms
Margaret -- With Soren, I'd prefer Margit or Margareta
Skylar/Skyler -- also sounds too trendy next to Soren, and I'd go with something other than another S myself
Cadence -- trendy
Melanie -- not with Soren (I'm picky when it comes to giving a child a name as strong as its siblings )
Amelia -- like the name, but it's getting more popular
Julia -- not with Soren
Sydney -- definitely not another S
Elizabeth -- like the Margaret comments, I'd prefer the Scandinavian form Elisabet or even Lisbet (did you purposefully choose Soren because of its origin, or just because you liked it, btw? I guess that might make a difference in my opinion)
Imogen -- love it
Louisa -- love this one too
Sterling -- too matchy
Blaire -- not my favorite from your list, but not bad

Ooh, I LOVE Soren Jennings. That's a great name. Here are my thoughts on your list:

Celine -- nice. I don't love it, but I like it

Alma -- okay. I've never really warmed up to this

Virginia -- love this. It's old fashioned, but fresh.

Emerson -- eh, okay. There are so many Emilys and Emmas right now, I fear she'd be lost in the mix

Lila -- very pretty. I'm really sick of Lily, but Lila isn't too painfully popular yet

Georgia -- LOVE this! It's a favorite of mine. So pretty.

Anastasia -- love this too. I really like this with Soren.

Eleanor -- Very pretty. Another favorite of mine.

Eliza Jane -- I love this. So adorable.

Josephine -- wonderful

Margaret -- love this, especially with Meg or Greta as a nickname

Skylar/Skyler -- eh, okay. A bit trendy and I tend to steer clear of repeating initials unless you really love the name

Cadence -- No. This is SO SO SO trendy.

Melanie -- nice

Amelia -- very pretty

Julia -- Nice, but a bit popular

Sydney -- see Skylar

Elizabeth -- I like this with the nn Eliza, but I also just like Eliza on its own

Imogen -- LOVE this. This is a fantastic match for Soren. Very underused and unusual

Louisa -- love this

Sterling -- this sounds masculine to me. I'd assume Soren and Sterling were brothers. And again with avoiding As if possible.

Blaire -- I like this a lot. It's not normally one I'd jump at, but I think this is a really great match with Soren.

I would eliminate immediately: Alma, Cadence, Skyler, Skylar, Sydney Sterling

My favorite is Imogen, by a long shot. My other favorites for you are: Blaire, Anastasia, Eliza Jane, Georgia and Louisa.
