That was tough! I utterly loathe matchy twin names so ended up going with Rebecca & Elizabeth. Both don't match in their full form, are lovely biblical names and The nicknames for Elizabeth are so numerous that she could potentially go by something other than Bess if she so chose (and my favorite nn for Rebecca is Bex).

(and FYI, it's Phoebe, not Pheobe.)

I voted for Rebecca and Elizabeth because they are the least matchy... I think that twins have enough identity issues without giving them matchy names, but that's just me :)

If I could mix and match from your list I would choose Leah and Megan or Leah and Phoebe.

Just to add, this isn't for an actual set of twins. Just for a "story" that I am writing!! Thanks!

The fact that you're even considering calling children Becky, Candy, and Missy makes me hesitant to reply, because they're all horrible. Rebecca is a gorgeous name, and I don't mind Candace. But Becky reminds me of the older daughter from Roseanne, and Candy sounds like a prostitute's name. Missy is the name of at least 8 dogs that I know of. I voted for Frances and Phoebe, but I'd rather it be Francesca and Phoebe. Those names are simply beautiful! I also LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the name Tessa, and I like Megan.

Good Luck!

I personally don't like outdated names like rebecca and elizabeth, it's like buying something pre-packaged and familiar. I think Stephanie and Savannah sounds really classy (Stephie and Anna). Candace and Cadence would be beautiful, lovely meanings too 'shining' and 'rhythmic'.
