I appreciate the fact that you don't want to name your daughter Madison Brooke because it's so popular. However, I'm puzzled because Kaitlyn (and its millions of spellings), and Mackenzie (and its millions of spellings, along with about a bazillion other Mac names) are also VERY popular. Misspelling Madison (Madysen) does not make it less popular--it just makes it harder to spell. Of the names you have listed, my favorite combines two of the names: Caitlin Avery! This is the traditional, Irish spelling of Caitlin. I also like Brooke Avery or Avery Brooke.
I'm sorry, I think all the names are a little trendy, to be honest. I never used to like the name Avery, but that one is actually growing on me...I had originally only thought of it as a boys' name, but it's actually cute for a girl. I might suggest, though, pairing it with a more feminine, typically/obviously girl name for a mn.
Not that the names you've chosen aren't "girl" names...but Madison (and all its variant spellings) wasn't originally a first name at all--it's a last name and a street name that parents (and the Splash! writer) adopted for a female name. Mackenzie also is last-namish to me, rather than a sounding like a given name. Brooke is nice, and i know it's a girls' name, I just think Avery would be nice paired with something more lilting and flowy.
Maybe something like Avery Briana, Avery Daniella, Avery Sarah, Avery Celina...something like that?
How about using Brooke as the first name? You don't hear that as often.
Brooke Madison
Brooke Alison
Katherine Brooke (Kate) - much better than Katelyn
Alison Brooke (I like this!)
Brooke Ellen
I haven't met one single Brooke, yet I know at least 5 Katelyns and many Madisons!
