I voted for Georgia, my favorite name from you list. However, I don't *love* the double -a endings of Georgia and Patricia, but I do love that you are honoring Grandma with Patricia. So Georgia Patricia it is for me :)

Well, my $.02 is that people are rarely even called their entire names...so I would do it anyway!!! Georgia is just gorgeous...so feminine, and underused, and classic with a prairie feel (in a really good way!)... I just love it!!

My hesistation with Georgia (along with the double "a" thing) is a nickname. I am big on nicknames lol. I can't think of anything for Georgia except for Georgie which is my best friend's son's nick name (George, and we see him almost daily so it would get confusing) Any thoughts on an alternate nickname?

Gia? Peach/Peachy? Sweetie, Fuzzy? Nicknames don't have to be name based, they can be associative or appearance based too.. Gia'd be name based, the others I listed are associative. Something appearance based would be something like Blondie.. for her hair colour (as an example).

Love Georgia and think Patricia is lovely. Good Luck!

I voted for Georgia. I know one grown up and one little girl with the name. I believe she was named after her grandfather. It's a pretty name.

Arwyn (pronounced are-win) - Don't love the sound, and I think you would have to explain the pronounciation a lot

Sydney - nms - too trendy

Jordyn - nms - spelling makes it even worse imo. At least Jordan could be after the River Jordan and have some historical or religious meaning

Alexandria - Alexandra is nice, but Alexandria is too long for me.

just out of curiosity, how would you have thought Arwyn was pronounced had I not mentioned it? just wondering how others would think it was said....

I agree that there is the same ia sound at the end of both names that sounds a bit rhymey but Georgia is the best name on your list. Could you do Georgia Patrice? and alter gma's name a bit?
