Hi all my name is Whitney and this is my first post here...I would like some help or suggestions with figuring out a unique middle name for a girl. Kierslynn is the first name and Macken is the last. Thanx :)

Kierslynn??? How exactly is that pronounced? I think maybe you should re-think that one... The thing with unique names is that often times they just seem weird and are easily mis-pronounced. Here are some ideas of names that aren't popular, but yet aren't made up. You could consider them as options for first names rather than Kierslynn, or as mn's if you do stick with it.

Try to keep in mind that this child will live with her name for her ENTIRE life... when she is an adult do you think Kierslynn will still be so cute? There are similar names- Kiersten, Kristen, Kirsten, etc. If you must stick with it, I would change the spelling to make things easier on her.
With Kierslynn, the pronunciation is confusing - "kee-airs-lynn" or "keers-lyn". I like "keers-lynn" better, and with that pronunciation, would spell it Keerslyn. It is much clearer.

I find it completely different once the child is already named. Had you posted that you *already* had a child and named her this, of course I wouldn't say anything negative about it. Most posters on here are appreciative of hearing all opinions...

Kierslynn Lanay Macken
Kierslynn Rayne Macken
I don't know that it's particularly unique, but I think Kierslynn Jane sounds wonderful. I think a short, sweet name would be a nice balance to a longer first name!
