HELP - Name for baby #3

Hello All,
Having baby #3 in August, not sure what it is yet. I have 2 girls right now Kaitlyn Rose & Tara Grace (one almost 6, one almost 3) for a boy I think we are set on Ryan Thomas, but for a girl we have no clue. Find girls names more difficult. Like Irish names but more mainstream Irish names. Was thinking of Cecily Jane for a girl? Do you like Cecily? Could Lily be a nick name? No other names pop out at me my dh likes Ashley but I am not too crazy for it. What do you think of Brooke, Chloe or Jillian?? Any suggestions - HELP!!! THANKS!

Congrats on #3! I think that Ryan Thomas is a great fit with your girls. Here are my thoughts on you girl names:

Cecily Jane - LOVE IT!!! This is a great name and Lily works as a nn. Cissy and Cece work too. This is my favorite name on your list.

Ashley - ehh, there is nothing really special about this name. It isn't as interesting or special as Cecily.

Brooke - I am biased because this is my name. I think that Brooke ages well and fits every woman: teacher, lawyer, doctor, etc. If you do decide to go with Brooke, then I would pick a longer mn because Brooke Jane isn't the best flow. Maybe Brooke Rosalie, Brooke Felicity, Brooke Joanne, or Brooke Suzanne

Chloe - I have just never liked this name, sorry

Jillian - this is my third favorite on your list. It works, but I think that Cecily and Brooke are more fun.

Other names you might like:
Brenna
Fiona** This is a pretty Irish name that goes well with your girls. Fiona Jane is very nice.
Maren
Maura
Molly
Nora
Tessa

Good luck,
Brooke

Cecily Jane is PERFECT. ;) Love it. If you love Lily, it could certainly be a nn, as could Cess, Ceci or Celie (like Celia, with an "ee" ending).

I also love Aisling (ash-ling), but Ashley is too dated for me.

Brooke and Jillian both work well with your girls, although I prefer Cecily by far. ;) Chloe seems a bit odder a match (although I just mentioned in another post, I did once meet a Clodagh, nn Cloe ), but I'd avoid another K sound with Kaitlyn.

Speaking of which, I had to grin at your dd's name -- Kaitlyn Rose. I have a Kaitlyn Abrielle, Devanie Rose and Abigail Fiora myself. ;)

ETA: Forgot to mention that I do love Ryan. Wonderful choice.

I dont really like Cecily but I do like Celia. I really like Jillian and Chloe from your list but I think Jillian goes better with your other girls names.

other ideas:

Blair
Cassidy
Devon
Erin
Kelly
Megan
Molly

Love Ryan Thomas! I usually like Cecily a lot but really don't think it "fits" with Kaitlyn and Tara.MN Jane is a good choice (fits with the other mn's you've chosen). I think Ashley works much better than Cecily as a fn for you. Of your others, I think Brooke works best, but still not crazy about it with the others-- seems "different." how about:

Megan/Meagan
Ashlyn
Brynn/Bree
Allison (I like this for you)
Maren
Mariah
Sabrina/Serena
Livia
Lilliana (Lillie/Lily works here as a nn nicely..better than with Cecily)
Nora
Celia/Cecilia/Cecille
Marina
Marisa
Miranda
Talia

Kaitlyn & Tara are precious names and I love the name Ryan - good choice for boys name.

Cecily - I like the name BUT it does not seem to flow with Katilyn & Tara to me. Lily would work as a nn for Cecily

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Brooke - It is my top name choice right now (Katelyn is also on my top 10 list) So with that said Brooke would get my vote. Its funny because my hubby and I like Brooke Ashley for a girl!

Chloe - for some reason this name and Zoe just really rub me the wrong way - I can get into those names ... sorry

Jillian is super cute and I used to love this name until I meet a girl named Jillian who is a snob & now I have a bad association with the name ... BUT ... I still think that it is cute and would work in your sib set.

I think Jillian is the best fit to go with your DDs.

I love love love Cecily Jane! Absolutely adore it. I think it's a perfect choice, and I think Cecily goes fine with Kaitlyn and Tara. And you could certainly use Lily as a nickname.

Of your other choices, Jillian is easily my favorite. I think it's a perfect match with Kaitlyn and Tara. Jillian Brooke would be a nice combination.

Brooke and Chloe are nice, but not close to Cecily and Jillian. Ashley seems very tired and passe to me.
