Neither of the K mns goes very well with Brooke (since it ends in a K sound), so my vote had to go to Anuhea, although I have no idea how to pronounce it, to be honest. A-noo-hee? A-noo-hee-ah? A-noo-ee-ah?

Instead of Kamalei, have you considered Leilani? Brooke Leilani would be a lovely combo. ;)

Thanks for your feedback. Anuhea is pronounced ah-new-hay-ah.

I looked up the meanings of the names and I thought that Anuhea had the prettiest meaning for a girl. Although I thought that Kamalei was also beautiful.
I love Hawaiian names and since I spent most of my childhood living over there I would love to use some of the names I have heard. But my husband doesn't really see eye to eye with me on that one. Anyway, come us posted on which one you end up using.

My husband and I met and fell in love in Hawaii and lived there for 2 years after we met so I'd love to honor that beginning with having our daughter's middle name be Hawaiian. My husband isn't wild about it, but at least I got him talked into the middle name being Hawaiian.

the two that start with K don't work well with Brooke, which ends in the K sound -it runs together
