Brianna - I like this name a lot. I think its pretty and feminine, I especially love the nn potential for it (Bri, Bee, Annie, Anna, etc.) Nicole- Well, this is my name (I go my Nikki) and I have never really loved it. I think for a baby being born now it would be outdated, very 80's. It does work nicely in the mn slot though. Brianna Nicole or Kaitlin Nicole would be pretty. Kaitlynn - The proper spelling is Kaitlin or Caitlin, and I would stick with that to avoid confusion. Kaitlyn is okay, but Kaitlynn just makes me cringe. There si no need to have two n's in there. Besides the spelling issue, the name itself is very popular. Will she end up going by a nn (Kate or Katie?) because if so that is just as popular as it becomes a nn for names like Katherine/Catherine, Kathleen, Katrina, Katarina, etc. I would say that Brianna is your best bet.
Brianna -- this is ok, but I've known so many of them (I think it's only gotten popular nationally more recently, but it's been pretty common around here for the past 20 or 30 years) Nicole -- again, nothing wrong with it, but it's very 70s/80s trendy (I went to a private school with about 50 students and there were at least five to ten Nicoles any given year) Kaitlynn -- I'm assuming at this point popularity isn't really an issue for you, so this got my vote. I actually have a Kaitlyn, but she's the only one I know of in our area, oddly enough. The extra N isn't really necessary, however. I'd stick with either the authentic Caitlin spelling or simply Kaitlyn (the most popular and therefore most commonly-assumed spelling in the U.S.).
