Help us pick a name for our second little girl, big sister's name is Lily
- Ava
- Carys (pronounced like Karen but with an 's')
- Cate
- Hayley
- Eden
- Sienna
You will be able to change your vote.

Ava - waaay too popular, I would definitely avoid it
Carys- love Carys, gorgeous name, GMV
Cate - I like Cate as a nn, but prefer the Kate spelling. All the Kate names (kate, cate, katherine, catherine, kaitlyn, caitlin, etc.) are really popular though. But if you go with just Cate and not as a nn for anything, I would spell it Kate
Hayley - Hailey is okay, but I really dislike the Hayley spelling. Two "y"'s make it look trendy
Eden - okay, a bit cutesy for my tastes
Sienna - okay
-Nikki
My vote went to Carys -- a beautiful name that's not quite as common as some of the others. I think with Lily, however, you'd probably be equally comfortable with something like Ava. That would have been my second choice.
Comments on the others:
Cate - I like it a lot, though Kate seems more natural as the stand-alone form. Many will assume Cate is short for Caitlin or Catherine (not necessarily a negative for you ... just something to be aware of).
Hayley - though I like Hailey (prefer this spelling, especially with the current Y trend), this seems a very different style than Lily, but at the same time sounds too similar. LiLY and HayLEY are a bit too matchy for my taste.
Eden - Lily and Eden will get a lot of comments. "Will you name the next one Eve? Apple, maybe?" Things of that nature. It seems a sib set just asking for trouble. ;)
Sienna - again, much trendier and a totally different style than Lily. It's also a minivan and nearly the name of a popular laxative (just in case you weren't aware).

Ava - I like the combo of Lily and Ava, it is a little expected. This name gmv
Carys - Carys is very pretty, but almost too unexpected and different.
Cate - Cate is nice, but I would like it more as a nn for Caitlin or Catherine (Catherine might be too long next to Lily).
Hayley - I dislike this spelling. What about the names Halle or Hadley?
Eden - too much with Lily
Sienna - ok, also bit much with big sis Lily.
What about:
Zoe
Evelyn
Audrey
Rebecca
Amelia
Caroline
Claire/Clara
Julia
Mia
Anna
Sarah/Sadie
Good luck,
Brooke

It might be just me, but it's VERY obvious. As I mentioned in my own comments, I expect some serious "Apple" and "Eve" ribbing with a Lily and Eden combo.
