- Too Trendy?
- Is this an old fashioned name?
- What sibling names go with Holly?
- Does Holly "fit" with Lila and Greta?

I voted "OK" even though I'd have rather gone somewhere between "beautiful" and "OK" - because I like Holly a lot, I think it's very cute, was never high on popularity lists in any era, but you always knew one or two here and there - haven't heard of any small children with it lately that I can think of, most of the ones I knew at one time probably range in age from 20s to 40s.
It's a little less traditional/classic that Lily and Greta - I don't see that as a problem, - I am concerned about how Lily and Holly end the same, a little close, but not real bad.
if you aren't sold on it, I think Molly (although still the ending the same as Lily thing) matches up in style better with Lily and Greta.
Holly is a good Christmas-time name. One very distant cousin I have with that name (in her 40s) was born Dec. 24.
good luck
Love the name Holly. It is number 2 on my list of names to use for our daughter that's due next week. Other names that we are considering are Natalie and Chloe.
Good Choice!

Holly is a fab name!!! Although I'm a bit biased, I have one, she is spelt Hollie though. My Hollie is 7 and there are two other Holly's in her school (540 children), one of which is 9 and the other is 6 so it's far from popular still. My eldest daughter's name is Daisy which I think goes nicely (although it did prompt questions from my nephew as to why i felt the need to call my children after flowers!) The worst thing is, since Daisy (10) has got into the Incredibles she wants me to have a baby girl and call it Violet........that may be taking things too far!!
Good luck..

My name is Holly with an odd middle name. I hated it when I was little, but
