I'm trying this again because I totally fouled up the Poll I sent. Anyway, I have heard the name Sterling several times lately and it seems to be gaining popularity in our area. What do you think? Is it too feminine? Another name that is catching on is Stillman. I think Stillman is more masculine and I kinda like it. Whats your thoughts?

I really like Sterling. I met this great looking guy named Sterling and ever since it seems incredibly strong and masculine to me, very striking. Stillman has the same feel, I like them both.

Thanks for your input. I didn't think they were bad but I got alot of negative feedback. I guess you have to know someone with the name to appreciate it maybe. Thanks again.

Since I live in Green Bay Packer country, the name Sterling immediately brings to mind Sterling Sharpe. He's a brother of Shannon Sharpe if that name is more familar to you. Stillman kinda sounds like Stedman to my ear. Sterling and Stillman definately are masculine names.

Well, I've heard of Sterling - I believe it was a little girl's name?

I like the name Sterling and I see it as a masculine name. As for Stillman, I don't like it at all, even on someone else's child. Sorry.

Terra.
