Sorry if this plea for baby name suggestions is in the wrong area but I went with the one that seemed to have at least some ideas of what they might be naming their baby. My husband and I are unexpectedly expecting our 4th child and as unplanned as this was unlike our other children we didn't talk baby names before we even started trying. Our other children are Pearl Hannah (5 and in kindergarten),Shepherd Matthew(2), and Ward Asher (2) yes our sons are twins.
For a girl we knew pretty early on in the last pregnancy that we were having boys. We'd just gotten over the shock of having twins when we found out their sex so we never discussed girl's names. So I'd like something simple. old fashioned and maybe a name that is also used as a word like Pearl, Ward and Shepherd are. Maybe not super popular. I like that my daughter is the only Pearl that anyone knows of, but if the right name is suggested and we fall in love I'm not opposed to a more popular name just not SUPER popular like Ava or Lily because we know a LOT of those. As for the middle name we've used something biblical each time and we'd like to again but Hannah, Asher and Matthew all have really nice meanings and I'm not sure what we could use this time besides maybe Eve. We're not opposed to just words used in the bible either ie Faith. Any suggestions would be helpful here too, We have a three syllable last name that starts with N.
For a boy we had our hearts set on Shepherd from when we first started trying to have a baby. Then they told us we were having twins and that they were both boys we wanted something that had as much meaning as Shepherd did. We liked the idea that Shepherd to us meant someone who guides and protects which got us on a discussion about watching over people and that lead to guarding which lead to Ward which we fell in love with. So again I think a word name would be good for us. The problem is that the only one we sort of like is biblical and definitely more popular then our son's names. We're fond of the name Abel. As in someone who is able to do anything he sets his mind to. The only problem we see is the biblical story has him killed by his brother and as I said it seems a LOT more common then either Ward or Shepherd. So we're probably going to use it as a middle name. We like the meaning of the name both from the bible (breath) and the dictionary. The problem is what first name do you suggest? Would both a first and middle name that are words and also used as names be bad? If not what do you suggest? If yes what do you suggest that works with Pearl, Shepherd and Ward and the middle name Abel?
Thanks ahead of time for reading this all and helping me in any way you can.
