Need help. I love the name Asa. I know this is an older name for a boy, but love it for a girl's name.

Please reply and let me know if you think this name could be used for a girl's name.

Thanks

i think it would be fine as a girls name - the only detriment to Asa is the possible teasing the child might incur from schoolchilren or nicknames she might gain with a name sounding like a particular curse word...

It is a boy's name derived from the Hebrew language.

Asa is not my style of name for a boy or girl BUT I think that Asa sounds more like a girl name.

I think that it could definitly be used as a girls name. When I first read the name the first thought that came to my mind was that it was a girls name.
