Is it dumb to give 2 middle names? It seems a lot of ppl are doing that...

  • Jennica Arynne (Erin) Renee
  • Yes, it's dumb to give 2 mn's
  • It's ok, seems to be getting more popular
  • Yes, it's ok to give 2 mn's if that's what you love
  • Who cares? No one goes by mn's anyways!

I never did think about that name/form thing. GOod point, ladies! Well, we can always just go by "one" main middle name. and leave off the other one. Either that or on forms, just put Jennica A. R. Ros... Dang! That's a huge name!
Jennica Arynne Renee Rosenbrook!

To ans. your other Q's, this is my 5th child and no, none of my other ones have 2 mn's, they've all got just one. But it doesn't matter to me at all. I'll just tell them that I couldn't decide. Big deal. But I agree, I think that's too big of a name. My dh said he doesn't care, so he's no help. Maybe I'll just wait until she's born and see what she looks/seems like. Either a Jennica Arynne, a Jennica Renee, or an Arynne Renee. LOL!

A lot of ppl wait to see what the kid looks like first and just go to the hosp. w/a few names picked out.

Yeah, it's okay w/me if it gets shortened. It doesn't really matter cuz they're both her names. I had a friend who had 5 names! She was given a 1st, middle, and last when born, then when she was baptised she got another mn, then when she completed confirmation she got yet ANOTHER mn! But she always just went by the 1st mn.

When my sister was pregnant with her 2nd child and found out it was a girl she and her DH could not agree on names... my sister wanted "Natalia" and her DH wanted "Hailey" and neither one would budge on it...

Finally they agreed on "Alyssa" for a first name but both insisted on having *Their* names in there...

So my neice ended up being "Alyssa Hailey Natalia Forrester"

Then I have a cousin who is the only girl after 5 boys so my aunt and uncle named her "Veronica Cheryl Kay Louise Wiemann" and she goes by "Ronnie"

IMO two middle names can be done (and done well) if the names flow together well... and if they are not all super long winded names on their own. :)

I voted who cares because I believe it's a personal opinion. I wouldn't say it's "dumb," I just wouldn't choose to give my child 2 middle names. I have enough trouble coming up with 1 middle name!
