Please, please, PLEASE spell it Jamie! Jaymee is over the top cutesey, and she will still have to spell it for everyone, all the time! Why not James for a boy w/ Jamie or Jay as a nn?

I really think Jaymee is just about as bad. It's so cutsey, and she won't be five forever. "Jaymee" isn't going to look very professional on her medical school diploma or the little name plate that identifies her as the Honoroable Jaymee Lastname when she gets that judgeship. I really don't get what's wrong with Jamie.

I like Jamie or Jaymie if you must "y". I had no trouble pronouncing Jeymi, though, and I don't hate it. Jaymee is a little worse to me, I've always disliked "ee"---even that is okay, though, as long as you don't use Jaime. Where I'm from, that name is Hi-may, and is used for boys exclusively---I hate seeing a girl Jamie spelled that way.

i think Jeymi is a niffty spelling.. had no. prob pronouncing it..

I am kina biased however, one of my daughters has the middle name jeymes..
