I feel bad being the first voter and saying nms. I don't think it's a bad name. I mean my child has ended up with Nomi (No-me) as a nn(Her name is Naomi) and that is a little strange. I think it's a name that if I met the child it would grow on me. I can't really think of any other nns except Phiney, but that is also nms. But if it works for you? I think Posey is better than Phiney though.

Karen, thanks for voting! Not every name can be everyone's style.

To Karen and everyone else who votes, do you prefer the Posey spelling or Posy?

Thanks again!

I voted "Love It," and I prefer Posey. I love the name Josephine, but I just hate Joey and Josie. Posey is quite adorable, though.

Thanks! I appreciate your feedback. I too dislike Joey and Josie. I'm not sure why, but they've never been my favorites. Josephine is such a substantial name that I think it's almost always going to be shortened to Jo, Joey, or Josie unless I come up with something else!

I think I would go with Posey not Posy since Posy without the "e" looks more like an adjective than a name.
