I love it. Reese is so sweet, and Julia is beautiful. Great combo.

I voted no, but I absoulely love Julia. It's the Reese that I don't like.

I agree with the pp ... I really like Julia, but don't like Reese with it at all. Reese is both masculine and nicknamey (usually a nn for something like Therese when used for a girl, KWIM?), so it just seems incomplete to me. Kind of like using another nn like, say, Liz instead of Elizabeth as the full name. Plus, despite the current trend of giving male names to girls, I don't think it's a good pairing with such a great, feminine name like Julia. I'd much prefer something similar, but ultimately feminine, with Julia. Perhaps Julia Therese or even Julia Rose (popular, I know, since it's my second dd's mn, but it does have a very similar sound to Reese while still being undoubtedly feminine).

HTH ;)

I don't really like Reese on a girl, but even more so I don't like the rhymey endings of Reese and Thomas. The two 'sss' sounds don't make for a good pairing IMO.

I like it VERY much! This is a very classy name. Don't let them talk you into something fluffy for the mn! Reese works extraordinarily well.
