Good Luck!

I like both names but prefer Alyssa since the middle name starts with a consonant.

I was going to vote Alyssa til I saw the mn. Too many "lih" sounds in the two names. Marissa Lynn is pretty

I like Alyssa more than Marissa, however, it does not flow as well with the mn Lynn.

I like Marissa more to begin with, although I like Alyssa also. But if Lynn is a necessity, that's not a good match with Alyssa. Lys Lyn - same sound. too close together.

Lynn is just such a common blah middle name - was way overused as a middle name back from the 50s up till almost the 90s I'd say.

if it's not an absolute necessity for a family member, I'd say try to find another middle name. If it is for a family member, you could spruce it up a little - Marissa Lynelle, Marissa Lynette, Marissa Lynae - although I prefer that spelled Lanae.

here are some middles I think would go with either one if you can be talked out of Lynn:

Corinne, Caitlin, Colleen, Danielle, Gisele, Janelle, Joelle, Jade, Janae, Jolene, Kathleen, Nicole, Noelle, Paige.

for Alyssa only - Michelle, Maureen, Megan, Monique, Renee

good luck
