I voted "no" for two reasons.

1) I find matching initials to be cheesy. I would avoid another K name completely. If you love the name, use the proper spelling- Caden.

2) It is SO popular. To give you an idea of how popular the names are, here are the SSA listings of popualarity for 2005 for the names that rhyme with Kaden (for some reason, I couldn't get 2006 to work).

Aiden - 49
Aidan - 43 (proper spelling)
Aden - 280
Braden - 132
Brayden - 80
Braiden- 581
Braydon- 384
Caden- 98
Cayden - 222
Caiden- 348
Kaden - 101
Kaiden - 249
Jaden - 88 (280 for girls)
Jayden - 54
Jadon - 424
Jaiden- 223 (469 for girls)
Hayden - 77 (417 for girls)
Haden - 861
I have also heard of Zayden, Graydon, and Dreyden. SO, as you can see, the -aden names are popular, and often misspelled and unisex. Kaden will get completely lost in the crowd.

Check out the SSA website to get an idea of the really popular names:

I voted no mainly because it's not my style for sibs' names to match like that.

Kaden is WAY too popular and is the kiss of death for me every time.

I voted no for so many reasons.

First of all, matching initials are much too cheesy for me -- and do you really want KKK?? LOL With a different name for #3, Kaia and Karli could be a coincidence, rather than a matchy theme, KWIM?

Also, Kaden is a misspelling of Caden, part of the huge "Aidan" names trend. If popularity doesn't concern you, cut to the chase and name him Aidan. He gets a real name that's spelled correctly and doesn't add another K to the bunch. You could also go with any of the other non-K "Aidan" names -- Braden, Hayden, Jadon, etc. Or, if you absolutely love Caden, spell it as such. The K spelling just makes it seem like you really thought your kids' names had to match so you tried to change the spelling of a C name to achieve that.

I don't like to be negative but you asked for opinions. I dislike matchy names, and matchy "K" names in particular. The whole "rhymes with Aiden" trend leaves me cold as well.

Sorry to be a poop.

Having names with all the same starting letters is nms. I like the names you are using though. Have fun!

I like sibling names that start with the same letter, but it can become a tongue twister when calling a child and mixing up their names.

I like it. I especially love K names, since my girls and I all start with K (Kim, Katie, Kenlie). Our boys start with J (Jim and Jack). We chose this route because it was an easier way for us to chose names! If you like the combo, then I say go for it.

Since you chose to spell Carly as Karli, it is obvious you were trying to keep the 'K' trend. So I would say stick with it for continuity. And although I adore the name Caden, I do agree with the trends making it less appealing. So I vote for YES another K name, and NO for Kaden.

I assume this is a boy...

I am not a fan of Caden type name.

For you I love: Keagan/Keegan!
