My name is Cathryn. If you choose the -ryn it is a two syllable deal. If you choose the -erine it is a three syllable. I personally prefer Kathryn. We are thinking about using it as a middle name. I think the -ryn is very feminine but DH and I like the "K".
I love the name Caroline also. Good Luck!

Katherine and Catherine might be meant to sound as if there are three syllables, but ultimately people say it too fast and it always just sounds like Kath-RIN

I like Delaney and Sierra the best of your first name list. both would sound fine with Katherine as a middle name

I've never in my life heard Katherine/Catherine pronounced with 3 syllables. I prefer Katherine b/c I like Kate/Katie spelled with a "K" instead of a "C". Kathryn is my least favorite spelling of the name. But all in all it's a beautiful classic name!

I pronounce Kathryn with two syllables and Catherine with 3. I think if you wanted to combine the two, I prefer the Katherine spelling.

Of the other names you have listed, I like Lydia, Lorelai and Caroline, which I think would go great with your DS name. I used to like Delaney, until I read that it means "Enemy's child" so I'm not so much into that name now, lol.
