Kerrigan or Kierigan?
- Kerrigan (pronounce it as: care-again)
- Kierigan (pronounce it as: kear-again)
- Both are nice - I can't decide.
- Sorry, none of the above.

Wow, looking at the popular names these days is like opening the South Boston phone book! :-) My personal impression of these Irish last names as first names is that unless they are family names, it seems odd to pull one out of the air to name a child. That said, Kerrigan is a more straight-forward name to pronounce, although here in Boston, it wouldn't be said Care-agin (ouch!) but "Kerr" with a short "e" sound. I know it's a Boston thing (the three words "Mary", "merry" and "marry" all have different vowel sounds here.)
